From the Beginning: Birth to School Entry

Family Navigation

Linking families in the Dawson Creek and Pouce Coupe to local and provincial services, support referrals, provide foundational knowledge of child development, offer a free drop-in playgroup and connect parents. Support for children 0-6 years.

Infant Development Program

Supporting healthy growth and development for infants to three years of age. Providing foundational intervention on milestones, sleep and play in one-on-one sessions and in groups.

Pediatric Therapy Services

Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language intervention therapy service for children birth to school entry.

Building Block and Young Parent program

A program to enhance parenting capacity through educational workshops, one on one session. Program is located at 10808 15th Dawson Creek, behind the High School and a licensed Infant Toddler Daycare is attached to the program for the parents attending the program.

Inclusive Care Supported Child Development

Supporting children with diverse needs in preschool and daycares to ensure they can fully participate in all aspects of the service.

Early Childhood Parenting Program

Parenting intervention on many foundational skills including; attachment, separation, routines and supporting a children journey to meet developmental milestones.

Children & Youth with Diverse Needs (Birth – 19)

Life Skills: Providing children and youth with a program to enhance life skills through one on one and group activities in the community. Engagement in sports, arts, community events and supported work. Respite: Designed to give caregivers time away or respite from the at times higher demands of parenting a child with diverse needs.
